I am basically unable to dynamically deploy SAGA on remote machines
without adding a $HOME/.saga.ini for each user, in order to use my
adaptors - only then expansion works correctly.

Joao,
could you have a look at ot please? Its blocking a couple of experiments
- or at least makes them very tedious. Configure is finding correct
settings, but the created ini files are unusable - I have to manually
craft a saga.ini for each new machin or machine image I am working on, and
have to deploy that file manually - kind of screws the idea of dynamic VM
instantiation, really...
If you don't think you have time for it over the next days, please let me
know, then I'll think of something :-)
